Medical Device Project Coordinator

Summary:
This position manages intra-departmental activities within the Company to assure custom projects are on track.
While supporting other departments, will assist in developing, promoting and implementing plans to assure assigned products meet the business goals and expectations. 
Work encompasses the broad range of activities required to plan, coordinate functions and actions intra-departmentally, and maintain active project plans for all custom media projects.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates all aspects of custom media program and projects after a custom media (CM) request has been accepted.
• Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities to ensure projects are completed on time. 
• Requires the ability to work with other departments leads/managers in a teamwork environment.
• Manages day-to-day aspects of custom projects – post acceptance and initiation to action required to notify marketing, sales and customer about shipment of product(s).
• Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to sales/client in a concise, organized and clear manner.
• Ensures project documents -including but not limited to special QC testing, shipping requirements etc., are complete. 
• Provide all needed support to the sales/product management.
• Maintain project timelines and ensure that due dates are met without delay. 
• Communicate with the Customs Team and Customer if delays are to occur.
• Chairs and schedules regular meetings with customs/project team and effectively utilizes each department to their fullest potential.
• Serves as a liaison between customers, IS sales personnel and distributors to ensure there is effective communication around CMA’s, projects milestones and challenges. 
• Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner.
• Ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts quickly. 
• Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.  Keeps track of deviations and implement preventive measurements to prevent re-occurrence.    
• Analyze the custom process and suggest areas for improvement in internal customs processes along with possible solutions. 
• Monitors production scheduling to help coordinate product planning, product requisition and product inventory levels to assure timely response to customer demands
• Participate in the weekly productions meeting and provide communication and expectations with regards to custom projects.
• Responds to customer projects/concerns inquiries and transfer product complaints for investigation and resolution by QA.  Follow up with QA on the status of the complaints.
• Track customs database for on time delivery and provide trends and analysis to QA for reporting to executive management.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• BA/BS degree in biology, chemistry, or life sciences. 
• Technical background appropriate to the specific needs of the product line.
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
• Business knowledge (supply and demand) where sales and marketing techniques are components thereof in a technical environment.
• Ability to show teamwork where ideas are shared and received to promote a teamwork environment.

Location:
Orange County

Compensation:
$21.00 - 23.00/Hour

The Microbiology Technician will work within a 8 Billion Dollar International Nutritional Supplements company specializing in the Research, Development and Manufacturing of nutritional supplements.

Responsibilities:
The qualified professional will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Collecting and testing Raw material, In- process and Finished goods samples.
• Performing microbial testing on samples.
• Petri dish filling.
• Collecting water samples.
• Preparation and shipping of samples to contract test laboratories.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Career Requirements:

• Industry experience or strong academic skills in microbiology testing.

Career Title:
Cell Culture Technician

Career Description:
Internationally recognized Biotechnology company located in Orange County specializing in cell culture media is currently looking to identity and hire a scientific professional with a minimum of 2 years of mammalian cell culture experience.

The qualified professional will be responsible for maintaining several mammalian cell lines (freezing, thawing, passaging & maintenance).
Experience with LAL & Sterility testing is not necessary but would be a definite plus. 

Career Requirements:
The successful candidate will be a well-rounded individual with a four-year degree in either Microbiology, Biology or related sciences.
Minimum of two (2) years of industry experience working with mammalian cell lines (academic experience may be considered D.O.E.).
Understanding and experience with LAL & Sterility Testing would be a plus.
Extraverted Team Player with good communications skills (Verbal, Written & Computer) is a must.

Location:
Orange County - CA.
