Responsibilities:
- Generation and maintenance of records within business and technical systems, computerized databases including Matrix, SAP, LS-400.
- Review documents for completion, accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Coordination with document originators to resolve any document issues / discrepancies.
- Electronic processing and release of documentation into databases.
- Creation of engineering documents (Part Lists/CAD drawings) under direction of Product Engineers.
- Coordination and prioritization of activities with Document Control Supervisor, and Product Engineering Managers.
- Communication and coordination with Company affiliates, primarily the Mexico location, in support of document requests.
- Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in document control.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fluency in English and Spanishis preferred
- Due to ITAR compliance, US citizenship is required.
$35,000 - $47,000 per year

Scope:
The Master Planner will support all product lines across the entire Santa Ana business via a monthly SIOP process.
Work Performed:
- Develop and manage a Santa Ana SIOP Process.
- Work with SAP to extract and process data to support the SIOP process
- Facilitate the monthly SIOP cycle ensuring data availability and engagement of all stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain key Business and value stream indicators.
- Develop and execute Inventory analysis and reduction projects working closely with marketing and cost accounting.
- Interface with the Santa Ana Planning, Purchasing, Operations, Finance, Sales & Marketing teams to ensure all stakeholders are fully engaged in the SIOP process.
- Take ownership of key account forecast processes to ensure independent requirements are accurate to customer requirements.
- Engage in Lean projects to identify ways to improve OTD, Lead-time reduction and Inventory for specific operations.
- Develops and maintains master production schedule to satisfy global supply chain demand.
- Develops level load manufacturing plan.
- Performs what if scenarios
- Establishes and maintains production priorities.
- Develops weekly or monthly reports to communicate master schedule performance.
- Manages MPS/MRP planning process.
- Uses CRP techniques to manage utilization of plant capacity.
- Controls finished goods inventory
- Interfaces with customer service to coordinate delivery schedules
- Analyzes demand (forecast, firm orders, etc) and works with production, sales and product management to create feasible production plans.
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent.
- Minimum ten years experience with one (1) to three (3) years of professional level experience in leading improvement teams. Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
- Experience with vertically integrated manufacturing operations
- Experience with Connector and Cable assemblies a plus.
- Knowledge of other functions that provide inputs regularly such as Purchasing, Manufacturing, Sales and Operations.
- Classes in negotiation, conflict resolution and reaching a consensus a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP.
- APICS Certification.
- Demonstrated leadership in a changing environment.
- Ability to communicate, influence and lead.
- Solid project management skills
- Team leadership skills

Scope
This role is responsible for performing engineering tasks in design, development, analysis, product testing, customer support, and value engineering relative to production of new and modification of existing interconnection products.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, documents and develops new products, conducts feasibility and risk reduction studies, completes calculations to meet customer functional, dimensional and performance requirements.
- Establishes component and assembly dimensions and tolerances, creates bills of materials (BOM), selects appropriate materials and finishes, creates 3D models and 2D drawing for use by production and customers.
- Creates project plans, estimates engineering effort and reports performance for assigned projects.
- Supports internal and external manufacturing operations, reducing costs, analyzing problems, defining and documenting corrective actions and implementing solutions.
- Interfaces with customers, answers technical questions and reviews customer specifications
- Visits to domestic and international customer and manufacturing facilities, as needed.
- Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering with knowledge of mechanical design and drafting
- Experience: 5-10 years industry experience required 3-5 years interconnect experience preferred.
- Knowledge of general manufacturing processes (machining, turning, injection molding, plating, product assembly and cable harness assembly) and materials (plastics, metals, elastomers, and metal finishes)
- Understanding of phase gate product development process
- Proficiency in CAD and PDM systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) required with Pro/E (Wildfire) and Intralink experience preferred.

Graphic Designer / Document Control
We are conducting an executive search for a phenomenal Biotech / Scientific company in the Orange County area. They are one of the World leaders in cell culture media. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a growing company. They need a Document Control Clerk with Graphic Design experience. This person creates and coordinates graphics used in product literature, product inserts, and promotional materials. Large complex graphics projects will be outsourced—this is for smaller projects where minor changes going back and forth with a graphic designer would be costly. Also supports Document Control functions. This is a temp to hire position.
JOB SCOPE/SUMMARY:

Graphic creation, processing and control of product bulletins, product inserts, promotion materials in accordance with internal specifications.

Support Document Control programs.

Word processes and maintains document control program.

High school diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of two (2) years experience of Quality Assurance Document Control in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment or equivalent.

Experience with Weber Labeling Systems.

Overall knowledge of Adobe In Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator Software.
